The Castle Hotel is a hidden gem in the village of Eynsford, exuding a comfortable, sophisticated vibe. It’s perfect for enjoying a cocktail in the charming herb garden during the summer or a mulled wine by the cozy, crackling fire in the winter. The Castle Hotel serves food all day, including elegant high teas perfect for a variety of functions. Our delightful menu features both classic English dishes and contemporary cuisine, crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients from trusted local suppliers. Led by our Head Chef Tyler and his Sous Chef Reece, our young, inspired chef team brings a passion for combining the best of local produce with world flavours, creating a unique culinary experience. Our front-of-house team, guided by Tegan and Naomi, is dedicated to delivering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Guests can stay in one of our seven beautiful boutique hotel rooms and wake up to a freshly cooked breakfast supplied by our local butcher. We also offer an extensive drinks menu, with a special focus on locally produced Kentish wines and Shepherd Neame beer. All of which we do to help create a smaller carbon footprint, with sustainability being a priority to the business. The Castle Hotel was taken over by the Thompson family in 2013. The Castle is now the cornerstone of their Big Family pub group, with pubs across the South East all with the same goal to give a memorable experience that you will not forget.
